My husband and I were contacted by Jubilee Financial Services in November. A pay down your debt program to save us lots of money each month. Starting in December of Jubilee started taking 250.00 a month out of our checking account to pay our bills for us.
Not to mention you have to contact all your creditors and give them Jubilee's address, so you don't get any correspondence. Six months later I'm being contacted by a lawyer from one of our creditors, taking us to court. We haven't paid our bill in over six months!!!
Frantic we called all the creditors we sent to Jubilee, low and behold none of our bills were paid. We tried calling Jubilee many times of course getting the run around all the time. They even put my husband on hold for half and hour and went home. No one ever picked up again.
Anyway, we contacted the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General's office and let Jubilee know we did. BBB and the Attorney General's office asked what we wanted to be done, we told them we wanted our money back with interest because our money was put into an interest bearing account and that Jubilee clear our credit.
Luckily, after a year of badgering Jubilee and BBB and the Attorney General's Office, we received the money they took from us without interest of course, and our credit is still a mess. We can't get a loan or even a low interest credit card.
I feel Jubilee should have to clear up everyone's credit that they did wrong to, before they came into the picture we have perfect credit. We had to get a loan from our employer to pay off the creditors, but we couldn't get enough to pay the whole amounts of each creditors, they charged off on our accounts. And that comes up on your credit report as negative against your account. When other creditors see that they shy away from us.
I feel that all the negative credit on our credit report should be wiped off. If Jubilee didn't get involved we would still be paying our creditors and our credit would be outstanding again.
