I thought it sounded great. You know getting a list of houses that we could take over payments on. They said that they took care of everything all we had to do was go look at houses pick one out and submit an application. I was hesitant about paying 199 for all this but i thought what the hell i can give it a try and the woman ASSURED me i could get my money back at any time.
I knew that I was being recorded so I kept repeating myself are you 100% sure I can get my money back? Even a year from now? And everytime she said yes. So after I got dissconnected I called back and paid for it. Of course I have 3 children who are loud and always fighting for my attention and the people that read the discosures are rather fast speakers so i missed the part about i have only 48 hours after downloading everything to cancel and get a refund. But I was assured that I would get my money back.
Well little did I know that all I got for 199 was a manual and I had to do all the work myself. I had to contact the people who were getting foreclosed on tell them that I would like to take over there payments and get them to agree to keep them on the loan. I would jsut be paying their loan and improving their credit. So needless to say I wasn't happy about it.
Well of course I called on a Thursday and downloaded everything on Thursday as well so when I took a look at everything It was already Friday. I couldn't call them back on the weekend cause they were closed and Monday was a holiday, SOOO I had to wait till Tuesday. When I called back on Tuesday they stated that they would not be issuing me a refund and after much arguing with them they said that they would review the tapes to see if in fact that the woman did tell me that I could get a refund at any time.
I called back On friday to make sure that everything was taken care of. They did say that they would issue me a refund, but that it would take up to 30 days for the check to be mailed back to me. Well, when day 31 hit and still no check I called, and wouldn't you know it, they have a program that recognizes if the number calling has ever called and when it is callers like me they have them sent to a voicemail that never gets checked and they do not respond to your emails either.
SO, I started calling from different numbers and would always get through but they gave me the runaround everytime. I filed a report with the BBB and a consumer report with another government agency. They refused to answer any complaints or return me my money. And YES i STILL call them. And yes they have at least 3 other names that they go by! All 199.
