I purchased a ring through ebay on January 11 for almost $500.00. Two weeks after paying for it, on January 11 on PayPal, I received a message from the seller saying that they were being investigated for shill billing and money laundering! A week after that they sent me an email saying that they would refund all money to those not receiving their purchases. Almost a month later I am still fighting with PayPay, ebay and Indochina gems to get my money back. Paypal sent me a notice this morning that they have tried twice to get the money out of Indochina gems and have not gotten it so - tough "contact the seller"!!! They tell me! I have been contacting them over and over and over again for the past three weeks and have gotten no response OR money. I have now filed a complaint against PayPal on the BBB and the Utah Consumer Protection Agency. I also contacted my VISA provider and informed them of the fraud.
