My wife was trying to surprise me by purchasing a model home kit for which I have great interest in. She decided to make this purchase via internet by providing the conartist with a check, in which he was eager to cash. He does not accept credit cards, does not issue his phone number, nor does he provide you with the product and wait for you to send a check, like other legitimate organizations. Anyway, my wife was told that she should receive the package in the mail before Christmas, but it wasn't promised to her, which she was okay with. "Mr Laramee" (if that is in fact his real name), did state however, that the product is out of stock and that it should be available within two weeks. My wife has had several email communications with this individual throughout the commencement of this order, but after her check had cleared, and we still haven't received the kit, she then decided to tell me about her experience, since it was supposed to be a surprise. Time and time again, email after email, still no response from Mr Laramee. She was getting extremely frustrated and I advised her that me and my attorney would handle this going forward. I then posed as a potential customer with a different email address and guess what? He responds within ten minutes.in fact, we had a twenty minute session of email communication regarding sending him payment for the exact same product, which he told me would be in stock within the time of receiving my check. Well here it is two days later, he would have received my check had I sent it, but the product is still unavailable. I have the printed twenty-minute communications we have had among other emails where he is extremely unprofessional is his linguistics, and therefore it is no surprise that he is indeed a con-artist.
