I feel very foolish. Yes I signed up for the silver package with World Market Systems without checking the company out first. Fortunately I have only spent $224 AUD ($149 US). Could have been mush worse. They offer gold package - $228 US 7 Platinum package - $477 US.
I am usually very careful when it comes to money making offers. Especially ones on the internet. However, on this occasion I guess I was very enthusiastic & also pressured. Basically to my embarressament, I signed up for the silver package with the offer to upgrade when I saw how well I was doing. Point is, I discussed with my husband & read countless reports on the company & phoned the next day to ask for a refund.
At this stage I have not even chosen a domain address. I have not completed the registration process. I have not been contacted by a coach & have not been given a web site. So I have not experienced the program except to say that I have been given the run around with the refund.
Firstly I spoke with Richard on Phone 1800 211 793 Ext 2382. He basically said that I shouldn't allow anyone even my husband to talk me out of this opportunity to make a lot of money. I simply replied with... This is my decision & I DO NOT wish to proceed. I told him I had not completed the 3 step registration process. He said he couldn't help me & that I had to phone customer service on 1800 211 263. I did this & spoke with Justin. Justin asked for my referal ID, which I gave him & he advised that he also could not authorize a refund & that a person in that department would contact me within 24 hrs to discus the refund process.
I don't expect to hear from anyone & I don't expect a refund will be forthcoming... Certainly without a fight. I know this is my fault for being so trusting, but I am in a position financially where I cannot afford to lose this amount with no opportunity to earn it back plus more.
Firstly beware anyone who phones this company. DO NOT deal with people who pressure you & will not follow through with the customer service they promise. I was disgusted that Richard would even attempt to put my husband down for his advices. He basically advised that I should ignor my husband & proceed regardless.
Again I take full responsibility for my stupidity & want to warn anyone else who may be considering this companies claims. Also please help by advising what course of action I can & should take to put this company off the air & to try to get my money back.
