Sunset Group Fishermen's Resort & Spa, Vip Caribbean Yachting Club, S.A. De C.V
By using lengthy, tiring trips & sales pitches mislead you into believing that youare bying timeshare instead selling you useless (if at all real) yacht club membership

During our trip to Mexico, a sales person (email: [email protected]) by a series of pitching, lying and various tactics forced us to purchase what they described to be a "time-share" for over $10,000.00.By exhausting people with demonstrations (hours and hours of demonstrations of random properties) they make you sign something and will not leave you alone and won't take you back to your hotel unless you sign something. Unfortunately we were the victims and due to exhaustion and constant pressure ending up unwillingly signing papers.

After careful examinations of the contract, we realized that what we have purchased isn't a time share at all, it's a "right to use Yachts from Admiral's Yacht Club (also known as VIP Caribbean Yachting Club). The parenting company of the scam seems to be located in Miami, FL at Sunset Group, PMB 477,444 Brickell Avenue Ste, 51, Miami, FL, 33131-2492. Their contact email is [email protected]. Mx and there obviously isn't a US based contact number.

Supposedly, according to Mexican Laws (http://www.profeco. Gob. Mx/revista/publicaciones/otas_pub_06/timeshares_abr06. Pdf) I have a right to cancel the contract within 5 business days. I have emailed them on the 4th business day clearly stating my desire to cancel the contract and have mailed out letters requesting cancellation to all addresses (both in Miami and Mexico) by regular mail as well as FEDEX.

I have also canceled the charge with American Express.

I'm going to notify the following organizations tomorrow: PROFECO, Departamento de Conciliacion a Residentes en el Extranjero C.A.R.E., the U.S. Embassy in Mexico, the U.S. Attorney General, the Federal Trade Commission and American Express. We'll continue to file complaints with the Better Business Bureau, the U.S. Dept. Of Justice, RCI, American Airlines, ASTA, Department of Foreign Affairs, Travel Magazines, the Travel Channel.

I'm anxious to see what is going to happen next, as the last thing I'm going to allow is someone stealing over $10k in USD from us.

Sincerely
