I purchased a unlimited broadband card through verizon with the 30 day trial because I was told it was lightning speed anywhere in my area and if I returned it in the 30 days I would receive a full refund. Well I took it home and plugged it in and it was so slow when it actually came on. I called technical support a few days afterward and after going through the same stuff I already tried.
I'm being told I can get an antenna which might help and to try everything before taking it back and if I go over the 30 days and nothing improves I can return everything and get a refund. After about 6 days of bad service I returned the broadband card and got the money back I paid for it and expected the broadband to be removed from my bill which was almost $400.00 dollars. Well it wasn't.
I called customer service and I was told I have to pay for the time it was on and the activation fee. They're not removing the $119.00 dollars off my bill. They gave me a 53 dollar credit for the activation fee but that was all. I still owe almost $350.00 now because I got conned into the broadband card. I was also lied to about the billing cycle.
I was told when I started the service I won't see a bill for a couple months well 10 days after I started I got a bill which was due at the end of the next month. They have shotty service up here and its not getting fixed. I don't know how they get a good reputation. They con you to get what they want.
