I purchased a tv 32" magnavox fromAaron's, I did the paperwork I was excited at first until they brought me a tv that was first of all DELIVERED IN HAND ;NO BOX, NO PAPERWORK;SCRATCHED UP ON TOP AND SIDES. I askedthe guy's what's up with this. So we called Aaron's and during the time on the phone they said it would take a couple of weeks for a new tv. I never heard from Aaron's.
Some Personal tragedie's had happened and during the time I had to leave my home; upon arriving back roughly 30-35day's mind you I am still paying rent but had to leave a violent situation; I enformed Aaron's about the situation and that I couldn't do a report because I don't know what happened. I offered to pay Aaron's the face value of the tv which is no more than $600.00w/tax fo the same exact tv; but they continue to call, HARRASSED MY MOTHER IN NEWYORK WHOSE NAME IS NOT EVEN ON THE LEASE FOR $50.00. I WAS FURIOUS SO I DEFINATELY STOPPED PAYING, THEN THEY CALLED MY EMPLOYER WELL EX-EMPLOYER SO MUCH I WAS TAKEN OFF THE CASE.
They leave harassing door hangers on my door some going as far as adding on $40.00TRUCK FEES, neighbors show me video's on their phone recording them looking in my windows, going on my back patio, threatning me with the police SAYING I STOLE FROM THEM, coming in personal vehichles, going to the leasing office, AND THIS IS WHAT TAKES THE CAKE, I HAVE 3 NEIGHBOR WITNESSES WHO IS GOING TO THE END WITH ME WITH THIS "THE WORKERS WOULD ASK DO YOU KNOW MS. Howard and that ihe has an average rate of 88% catching the person, "i usually catch them when i'm off, call frommy or someone else phone, bang on the door as early as 8am to as late as 750pm. THIS IS REDICULOUS IT'S LIKE BEING HELD HOSTAGE.
Until this matter is mediated i am going to put them on every site i can find to stop this predatory, bullying. Aaron's you ought to be ashamed of yourselves and you are suppose to be the largest retail for rent-own and now i see how you did it" taking advantage of consumers who they think are dumb. But guess what you have the right one now.
Like i said you can charge me 40 acres and a mule apposed to the extra $40.00 truck fee you added on. Aaron's i am not afraid of you. So let's take this to mediation like grown folks so mr. Mike hickey v. P of management developement, oh yeah and mrs. Beth gibbs v. P of general counsel they wuld love to know the lenghth of emotional and sometimes physical approach their employees posess when they are not "thouroughly trained, or management turn a cheek while emplkoyee's go on a hunt for poor unsuspecting consumers.
