Similar circumstances as report from shellina from utah. Mislead to believe HCG MEDICAL was a walk in medical clinic with attending physician on site. Was told would have to have lab and complete and submit paper work with medical history before being accepted in weight loss program. I requested credentials of dietition and MD along with an itemized cost.
After several requests, HCG would only send me a physicians name and license number. I looked up medical board number and found Physician licensed in Oklahoma but no physical address, phone number and prescriptive rights. Found a physician with same name licensed as an ER doctor in Hawaii. My doctor said no. HCG had already charged my credit card $310.00. I did not complete paper work or do any lab.
I sent letter from my doctor stating no. Cancelled credit card before any other charges could be applied. Hcg threatened they would file credit card fraud charges against me and take me to small claims court which they said they had never lost a case. My attorney sent them a letter. Now am being harrassed and told I have to continue program and arrange for payment.
I still don't know what I am supposed to be paying for. They said I owed a loan company. "what loan". I checked addresses online of clinics supposedly located in my State.interestingly they are the same adresses as Licensed laboratories and are not HCG MEDICAL clinics. I smell a rat!
