I bought the magicjack about a 2 months ago and it has worked fine until today. All my calls work fine until I get disconnected at 60 minutes, exactly. Magicjack support advised me that you must have at least 500-1000 kb UPLOAD speed or you will be disconnected. DSL speeds vary, vary rarely reach 500k so if your thinking about buying this check out your speed at speedtest.net and test your speed before you buy.
Don't upgrade and put it on a credit card so that you can rebut the charges later.
I must say the support staff is full of donkey dodo and Cox tells me that I need nothing close to 500kb upload to use VOIP so I am just repeating what they say and advising everyone that it has a 60 minute limit before disconnect.
I do have a 6 month old notebook and a new desktop and it runs fine right up to the 60 minute limit which is not in the Terms of Service of FAQ.
