I have two home for New Cen. Now Ocwen Fed. My residental home got behide but I can up with the back payments. I let the collection person in the legal department that my check would be here by labor day (which was about 5 days.)
I ask was my property in forclosure she said not yet. She told me my check would not get to me before labor day because of the hoilday house deal take some time long so give myself another week before I get this closing check. I call her back less then a week later and she told me I took to long and the she has sent my case to an attorney here in Ohio.
She told me now I will have to pay more money now because it on her desk and attorneys fees. I ask her How much she said she would have to contact that attorney in Ohio in would get back to me in a couple of days.
She told me not to talk to anyone else in the company only her. I found this to be strange. I believe I was three month behind with the fee she was charging it was double what I owe. I told her I need to contact my attorney now she stated if I do it would cost me even more because her fees were discounted at this time.
I called New Cent. Any way they were going to accept my payment of just the back payment over the phone but she intercepted the call and told me "didn't I tell you not to talk to anybody but me" I agreed to pay her fees to save my home. But this is the killing part. I sent the check as I indicated and it was returned because it wasn't a cashier check. And they started a forcloser. I have all my document to prove all of this.
Cwen Federal Bank
Another home I have had a fire the insurance company sent a check to cover the damage the money went into Ocwen escrow account they give the money back in third to make sure the the work was being to rehab the fire.
Also the insurance co. Sent a check for lost rent. I instructed Ocwen to take 4 months out 3 months were advance payment. Well on the third month payment Ocwen elected to take out money for insurance instead of paying for the decembers payment. They told me that I didn't have proof of insurance. I thought this was a Joke they have over $60,000.00 in escow and choose to wait til the allocated all the money for repairs then not pay my mortgage. And had the nerve to charge me a late fee.
Keep in mind my payment was paid in advance. I refused to pay them for Dec. So they took Jan. Payment for Dec.
This went on and on One Rep told me the have the right to do want the wanted with the Money. Now in Feb the took out my money again for Insurance. I finally sent a copy of last year that this year insurance plus payment record. They put mein forclosure. I have review my tax record they have not paid my taxes in three years and my entire payment a guess was going just for mortgage payment..
