I feel so bad for all of you. I know exactly what you are going through because I have also found out the hard way about these people. I started working for the Sweeleys several years ago. I worked for them out of my own home. I would make the trip once a week to the Menu Master office to drop off my sales to recieve my pay.
Every time I would give my sales to Mrs. Sweeley she would take them and then change the subject from my pay to will you sit with me so I can pray with you about your children? I was taken aback by this request but chalked it up to ok she must have had one to many coffee's this morning and is buzzing. I did not know what exactly to say to her so I said ok sure thinking what the h*ll I will do this she will pay me and I will be on my way.
Well after listening to her what I quickly discovered was mental rants I said well thank you can I have my pay now. She said well I will send you your money after I go over these sales. Pissed off I went home and waited and never got my money. So the next time I went into the office I made sure to take my sales to her husband. He paid me so I made it a habbit to drop my sales off with him from then on because I knew he would pay. He did not seem as crazy as she was but he was sort of borderline.
One day the crazy Mrs. S. Came stomping down the steps in a rampage while I was there ranting and raving about how I am hot for her husband and am only there to make passes at him. "I dont play games with whores that make a play for my husband this is your last day here and I want all my material or you will be sued" These are the words she screamed at me. Wow ok, Now if any of you have taken a good look at her husband you would obviously know that this accusation is absolutly outragous. I found better looking men on the street corner begging for cash.
All I can tell you all is thank the good lord you got out when you did because she is one card short of a full deck, knitting with only one needle, well you get the hint she is freeking NUTS. I never did get my last pay from her but she sure made it a point to call me and make threats about how she will sue and sending only what I can call psychotic notes to me. The " letters" yes not just one but many came once a week and each one was more crazy then the next. Finally she stopped why I can only assume she found another poor sucker to take her rage out on.
I wish there was some way to make it more public so that more people could protect themselves from what will ultimately become a nightmare.
