Resurrected a long-dormant (my choice not to close the card account - should have) credit card number and charged me 40.00... I received a call from the credit card company asking me if I used the card.
I did not authorize an automatic renewal... Why would I since their service is so poor and redundant.
They finally offered me half price membership (they want to keep half of the money they have stolen)... I am charging them with fraud through the credit card company.
