This company owns and manages the Farcroft Apartments at 1337 W. Fargo in Chicago, IL. The property is a 13-story building with 86 rental units. For the 8 years that this company has had control of this property, the elevators are always broken down leaving only the stairs to access apartments on all floors. As of December 1 both elevators have been out-of-service (not operational) for three weeks. Management company advised tenants that parts were on order and the older passenger elevator requires a new generator. This is an on-going problem and elevator breakdowns are a common occurance, yet the management company waits weeks even months to make repairs. Elevators are a necessity in a multi-story building not simply a convenience. Owner needs to sell the property to someone who will take an interest in managing it properly.
