David Baker contacted me and said that I have 2 hours to pay him $1000 or I would be charged with a felony. I asked him to provide proof of this supposed fraudulent check, he said that he had it, but wasn't going to send it because he didn't have to. David said 'see you in court, I will make an example out of you.' I asked to speak to his manager, he put David Baker on the phone who claimed to be an attorney, he was just as rude as David. I asked David for proof of the debt, he said 'people in hell would like a glass of ice water too.'
Brian Thomas left a message on my mom's phone stating that I wrote a fraudulent check and that she was being held accountable. My mom returned the call to Brian, he told her that I wrote a fraudulent check, and to expect a visitor. Brian also told her before he hung up on her that I would have a long time to think about what I did. I called back and spoke to Brian, I asked him about all of the complaints on the internet, he said that those people were my relatives trying to get out of paying their bill. He told me I was a scumbag and hung up on me.
Do not send these scam artists any money... They are not above the law. Most attorneys do not charge a fee until after the hearing and sometimes only if you win.
