Glantz And Glantz Pre-Paid Legal, Glantz And Glantz Pre-Paid Legal Services, Inc., Of Florida Horrible service, No response, VERY inexperienced!

10/23/08-I was asked to resign from my job. If I did resign, I would not be required to do any further work and I would be paid 2 weeks severance. If I did not resign, that was my last day and I would be paid through the 24th.

I sent my employer a note with what I understood the agreement to be, he responded with a separation note from his attorney stating that I had resigned. I asked him to change it to terminated as I have an open unemployment case out of Oregon and resiging could have a negative affect on me getting my claim paid out.
My previous employer immediately had the verbiage changed along with a bullet under the general release of claims that stated "any claim for unemployment benefits".

10/25/08 I signed up for your service seeking advice on this document and whether it was ok to sign. If I did sign it could it impact my unemployment case.

10/27/08-I first called John Balcon who had picked up my internet request for service on 10/25. He got my billing information and said I would be able to speak with someone Monday morning 10/27. I called and called Glantz and Glantz trying to speak with someone as there was a limited time I had to sign this agreement. Each time I called the receptionist was unable to find my member number. A temp file # was created on my behalf-527468.
- I called John Balcon to get my member number and is was not until late in the afternoon on 10/27 that he was able to provide me with that number.
- I called Glantz and Glantz back multiple times, the member number was still not attached to my temp file number. Finally, end of day on 10/27 I was able to speak wth —Libby Calejo (not sure of that last name).
-Libby asked that I send a breif outline of my termination along with the separation agreement. I faxed him a cover outlining my termination along with the separation agreement-15 pages
-I let him know right then that I wanted documentation in writing as to what he was advising me as well as a copy of anything he sent to my previous employer.

10/31/08-Days went by until I was able to speak with Libby again. When I did speak to him, I told him that the agreement had been changed to termination and the bullet was removed about a claim for unemployment. It was very much like I was telling him his job. I faxed him a note for his records, 1 page from my employer where he had agreed to have the changes done. I asked him, just for records, to send a request for those changes to my previous employer then fax the document to me. I also requested a note on your letter head that he had "advised" me this document could do me no harm. Neither of these things were ever done.

11/1/08-I faxed the amended separation agreement, 11 pages, that I had requested from my employer - so Libby would have the document. Libby did not even think of this.

11/3/08-11/4/05-I kept calling trying to speak with Libby and get those documents that I had requested. I would like to point out as well, that my temp file number was still not attached to my member number. It had been nearly 2 weeks since the temp file number was opened. He never called back.

11/5/08- I called again and did get a call back from Libby saying this was his last day with Glantz and Glantz but he would be sure to get my temp file number associated with my member number. I asked about the documents that I had not been requesting for over a week and he said he would hand it off to whoever took over his cases.

11/6/08- I called again, and sure to his word Libby had associated the temp file number but I still did not have my requested documents. I was told a supervisor would call me back. I did get a call at 5:55 that evening from the supervisor, I take an instructor led course on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6pm so I had to ask for a call back the next day.

11/7/08-I got a call from Glantz and Glantz approximately 1:30 pm. I was unable to get to the phone but a message was left on both my home phone and my cell phone that he would try later. He never called back.

11/8/08-It has now been 3 weeks and I still do not have the documents I requested. I am requesting to get a call first thing on Monday morning, by the time I get that call whoever calls should have reviewed my file and will be ready to fax me the documents I requested.
