In December I purchased a watch for my husband. I was instucted by Diana (manager of Daniels) that insurance protection had to be purchased. So I did. The insurance was to cover theft, breakage, and loss of employment.
I lost my job in May and in August when money was really tight I requested the insurance paperwork so that I could apply and receive assistance for my balance of $88.
When I received the insurance papers which took 3 weeks to receive. They requested many items which I had, i.E. Unemployment documents etc... The one request I did not have was Daniels insisted on me going back to my employer and make them sign a paper stating I no longer worked there. Upon reading this request I called the company and spoke to Kim who was EXTREMELY rude. She could not understand why I would not go back to my employer. Furthermore, since I would not have the employer sign a letter I would not be granted the insurance after I had paid my payments on time each month.
I was laid off, why would I go back to my employer when I could prove by the EDD letter and my check stubs, which showed that I was receiving unemployment.
The Daniels manager Diana said, "it was out of her hands and could not help".
This company SUCKS...
