Apex-websolutions - Rafael Munoz
Offered job by Apex-websoltuions as Accounts Payable Manager through Careerbuilder. Authentic website, career goals, mission statement. Bogus company. Send you fraudulent checks to cash for them. Valencia

I was offered a job position with Apex-websolutions through Careerbuilder as Accounts Payable Manager. Company downloaded my resume from Careerbuilder. The job entailed being part of a team to create a US based branch office. I verified the information on the website.

Website explains company ideals, goals, and career opportunities. Authentic looking website, but there are several companies with the same name. Rafael Munoz, Chief Executive for Apex-websolutions communicates by email only. I was sent a job offer letter and contract to sign. I returned the forms to an international fax number. The company is located in Valenica, Spain.

Rafael Munoz kept in daily communication on disposition of customer checks sent to me.
The checks were from US customers paying for company services. I was told that they had received payment for services rendered, but they returned the checks and asked the customer to the checks payable to me and mail to my home address. This job was offered as 2nd income with the ability to work from home. I was later instructed to collect the checks and cash them, pay myself 14% and send the cash via western union to Dublin, Ireland.

I received two checks; Jesse A Williams, Corpus Christi, Texas and Thomas Ledford, Honolulu, Hawaii. I went to my bank, WAMU. I specifically asked if there would be a hold on the checks. I was told no, that the funds were available.

I returned to the bank the next day to withdraw the cash and sent via western union.

I was never contacted again. I returned to WAMU when I tried to transfer money from my savings account to my checking account. The checks had been returned and my checking account and savings accounts were in negative balance.

I spoke with the Branch Manager at WAMU and was told that they could not do anything or advise anyone of this fraud. I was told that they did not have anyone, nor a department that could further investigate the checks.

I have filed claims with the Arizona Attorney General, Internet Crime Complaint Center, Scottsdale Police Department. I was told that there is nothing that can be done. The Scottsdale Police Officer told me to file a report with usacomplaints.com. This was the only alternative available to let other people know about this fraud. Everything about the company looked authentic. I am certain that others are falling victim to this scam. Anyone with a resume on Careerbuilder is exposed.

Three weeks later, Apex-websolutions website still exists with the same career opportunities to every American wanting to earn an honest living.
