Job Scam Zaragoza And Dublin and Ireland

I received an email from [email protected] offering me a job receiving payments from United States customers, cashing the checks and then sending the cash to their company in Spain (or Dublin, Ireland?).

They do not ask for my bank account info or Social Security number.

The company's website claims that they are in the process of opening an office in the U.S., but until they get the office set up, they need a "manager" to take care of U.S. Customer payments. Allegedly the company does web designing.

I believe it is a scam because they want me to deposit the customer checks through my own checking account and send cash to the "home office" (in either Spain or Dublin, Ireland. Two addresses are posted on the website).

The job title is "Payments Manager/Payment Processing Services" and the website indicates that I can potentially make $65 - $75K (with bonuses - "in time"). Bonuses are provided to the "Payments Manager" depending on how fast they can cash the check and get the cash to Europe. They claim the Manager will receive 12% of the total check and that they will file a report with the IRS at the end of the year indicating that the Manager only received 12% of the total payment (so the Manager will not be responsible for paying taxes on the entire payment amount).

I am suspicious of a website where the English grammar and sentence structures are butchered (not to mention misspelled words!). I feel that if the company is legitimate and has the proper financial resources, they can hire people to translate information from Spanish to English to advertise their services on the web.

There is a Terms and Conditions document that must be signed, but I did not download it. If anyone would like additional information or would like a copy of the initial email (they said they found my resume on Careerbuilder), please let me know.
