I was recruited via careerbuilder.com by a "Sonya Beckman" ([email protected]) to receive checks in the mail, cash these checks and then send them over seas care of Western Union. So I did what I was told, I took the checks to my bank and cashed them, then sent the money to London UK via Western Union.
That happened Friday 02/24.
Today, Monday 02/27 I got a call from my bank telling me that "the checks were being returned" apparently they were bad checks or they were canceled.
Now I am being told I have to pay $3,630 back to my bank.
