FL Movers never updated my contact phone number in their records and this caused problems on pick up and delivery of items. The driver called the wrong number several times when attempting to pick up items and it is not until I finally called the company to find the status of pick up did I discover that they had been trying to reach me at the wrong number. I advised them to update their records to my cell phone. This was never done and they continued to call the wrong number.
When the driver arrived in California, they called the same WRONG number They went to the property but I was not aware that they were there and my neighbors would not have accepted delivery of the items because they do not know me and could not make a payment on my behalf. Had FL Movers UPDATED my records from previous call and put the right number into the system, called the right number, they would have been no problem with me, or an authorized person taking delivery of the items and making a payment of the amount due. They instead continued to call the number which had by this time been disconnected. I called the Company to find the status of my order only to discover that they had put the items in storage and wanted to charge me a re-deliery fee oer $300.
The Manager was very rude and kept contradicting himself in his explanation of the services rendered.
