I made the phone call based on a little placard they placed strategically in my area. I called them and spoke with a very amiable woman who asked me to fill out the online application. I filled out an electronic application 3 YEARS AGO.
After I filled it out the application called me right away. They wanted my credit card number. I refused to give it to them and stated there was no reason why they would need it. They told me it was for verfication and security purposes to confirm that I was who I said I was.
I refused and told them I was absolutely not interested in their service at all and it sounded like a scam.
3 years later, they are still calling me! They leave very friendly voice mail messages and reference an email that I sent and that they just want to follow up.
I wish they would leave me alone!
I am sorry to hear of other peoples troubles with this company. I can completely understand it based on my limited experience with them... Again... 3 YEARS AGO!
