My daughter was taken in to custody about 18 months ago because one of my sons friends broke her arm. They tried to say me or my wife did it so we took polygraphs and worked with the police and them fully. We were cleared of possibly doing it.
So they came up with all these classes they wanted us to do, so we did them even my two sons were put in siblings classes. Me and my wife were told to start seeing therapists, so we did. When we finished the classes they came up with more.
My wife used to have a drug problem a while back. When she told them this they forced her to go to a rehab place in Miami for a month and then when she got home she was in a out patient program for 3 months and seeing drug counslers weekly, she is also attending NA meetings every night. They even make me go to the NA meetings because I told them I used weed in high school.
Everytime we have a court date coming up they tell us they think she will be coming home this time, then when we get there they "change their minds". When we go to court all they have to say is we want continued custody and the judge gives it to them. They don't even have to prove anything, we get up there and plead our case and its like we're not even talking, the judge will be up there eating a sandwhich not even paying attention to us.
My daughter is not being taken care of in this foster home she's in. Everytime we visit her she's dirty. We always spend the first 20 minutes of our visits cleaning her. At the last visit we had to cut it short so they could take her to the hospital because she had an infection from them not cleaning her that they didn't even notice, my wife did while she was cleaning her. We have seen them feeding her chips and fast food, and she'e under 2 years old. She don't even know who we are. To her we're just a couple people who come see her once a week, she calls these other people mom and dad.
I don't know how much they're getting but I know they're getting federal funding for having her in custody, and they are trying to put me on child support. To me it all seems to be about the money.
