I was served with a court summons from Farrell and Seldin representing Midland Credit Management for a debt that was PAID in 2005. I sent Farrell & Seldin a debt validation letter and in response I received a "Notice of Settlement Offer" letter. Unbelievable! Of course they can't validate the debt - IT WAS PAID!!! I have proof the debt was paid so I am in the process of hiring a consumer attorney to fight these idiots. They are violating the law and will not get away with it. I will also be filing a complaint with the Attorney General's office. Farrell & Seldin should not be allowed to practice law! I know my legal rights and they can't scare me into paying a debt that does not exist. Beware of this law firm - they break the law and are as slimy as the clients they represent.
