The realty company keeps telling that they can not give me back my Earnest money. It has been 4 1/2 years and because they say the seller "marshal builders" wants to dispute the money they can't give it back to me. The contingency in the purchase agreement was that he was to fix the things that were broken in the bathroom. He refused to do so at a meeting in the Nexes realty office, so i put paerwork through to withdraw my offer. And i signed paperwork to have him sign too to release my earnest money and he refused. Nexes says that he still to today won't sign the release and that they can't do anything.
I would believe that the statute of limitations would be over by now. And my money should be released to me.
I would not use Nexes Realty or do business with marshal builders!!!
