I attended training at Schneider's Green Bay, WI facility and was hired in August. I worked out of the Gary, IN operating center. On 11th July, I was terminated for being 1.5 hours late picking up a load for WalMart.
This load was delivered on the day it was due some six hours ahead of deadline. This was still considered a service failure and was used as grounds for termination.
Schneider Training Academy has been ringing my phone (the one I don't use) wanting their remaining $1875 late fees. This turnip don't bleed. They will not see a dime. Class action? Hell yeah! Where do I sign up?
PS, They let me collect some 70 HOS violations over a period of six months before they even notified me about them, then sent me for remedial. On top of their game are they? Best training in the industry? Can I stop laughing now?
