These companies are ripoff's they gave me a interview and told me if I recieved a phone call then I made it to the second interview. Anyhow the plan was for me to spend a day promoting ALSA organization for Lou Gehrig's disease. I stood out their for about 8 and a half hours witnessing a guy scam people out of their money to be fundraising items ranging from 20dollars and up.
I realized something was not right because I was contacted and bamboozled into thinking I was working for Alpha International, because thats who I submitted my resume to. Basically, these people representing Alpha in reality and making false advertisement saying their AIM. Well, the rep from the company who I was shadowing that day said that it was to companies in one. Which I do not believe, because the so call owner interviewed me would of told me in the first interview I was representing AIM right. Anyhow I spent all day out their with this scammer. Also, he was sticking the money received in his wallet, which I thought was crazy!
These people are setting up tables all through town at our local Wal-Mart's, Sam's Clubs, Banks, and basically anywhere that they know a large amount of people will come. The use the line that they are promoting a charity.
I had to stay at the location for 8 and a half hours. The reason I didnt leave is because the people make you ride with a representative and leave your car at their office.
I am very upset and sadly to see that people use a real foundation to scam people out of their money... Beware
