Shaver Auto Center BEWARE: Sneaky / Cut throat Liers / seems to be a pattern

My husband and I saw an ad in the News Paper for a 2006 Chrysler 300 for $18,997. We had called earlier that day and were told the car would be held for us. When we got there we were greeted by Wendy one of the first sales persons we would speak to. We showed the Auto ad to Wendy. She knew who we were. She pulled the car out in which we must have waited for 40 minutes or more for her to locate it. Then she began her sales pitch. Then introduced us to some one else whom of course was fast talking and made the deal seem like one in a life time. He informed us that the car was pulled around the back of the building being held for us. Although we know that was not true. Wendy had to move 6 other cars from the lot to get to the car. But somehow we stayed and listened to what he had to say, his lies just came so natural, he was easy to believe. I notice the window sticker $25,997. It seemed to be such a great deal at only 18,997.

We test drove the car and my husband wanted to go ahead and try to see about buying it. We went inside and waited for about 15 minutes for her & the second Sales person to get the approval to sale the car at the advertised price. But we were told that the Shaver Protection Package & Alarm System was already on the car and that it cost $7,000 so the cars price was $25,997, no exceptions. So we got up to leave. They then went again to see what could be done.

We traded in our vehicle, which they gave us a fair price, and after talking us into a larger down payment than we were comfortable with, (told us our 1st car payment that was due on that same day, would be made. When I recd my first bill I had a late fee in which they would not remove unless I paid by phone and included the 1st and 2nd pmt. (2nd pmt was now due)

Once in finance we were charged $23,563.73 for the car. Price included the Interior/Exterior and Alarm Package. The car was a mess and we were told the car would be cleaned up inside and out. 5 hours later the deal was done. We were told to contact service for an appt to get the car detailed inside/out. The gas was less then a quarter of a tank and by this time the mileage went from 9-17? Hmm.

Made appt with service took car in they new of the cleaning needed to be done. They said it would be about 2 hours. Called them 3 hrs later to find it was not yet done to allow a couple more hours, buy this time 4:00 came around car had not been done it would have to stay over night. Next morning recd a call at 11:15 am ready for pick up. The interior of the car was still so dirty, asked about it and was told at next service it would be taken care of and a new speaker frame would be ordered they would call when in. (Horrible job) I also could have paid my 7 year old do a better job. I was so tired and irritated I just went home. This dealership can do that to you. Think the sales people are lying and sneaky well the service department is worse. I cringe every-time I have to take my 300 to them for regular service.

When I got home I called spoke with a different service Tech whom had to transfer me to service manager, whom to my dismay was the same jerk I spoke to at the Service dept. He has been a pain. Just this last time we had to have our tires rotated, we actually marked the tires on the inside, do you know we were charged for tires that had not been rotated, they even tried to charge us 39.99 when there was a add for 9.99 however they would not adhere to the add and we were charged $19.99. I will never do business with them again. I continued to get the run around regarding the stains in the interior and never did get the speaker cover.

As for the tires we still have not recd reimbursement. This happened in (04 2008). We bought the car in 08 of 2006 new. Talk about procrastination. Four days later after we had financed the 300 Monique (from finance) called us and said they got an approval from the bank but needed to change one thing in the contract and re sign, when we asked what needed to be changed she said she couldn't tell us and that we had to come in today.

So we drove down there waited for 45 minutes, and then she took us in the office and said we had to take the trade out of the deal or put another 500.00 down on top of the 3600 we already had.

Then about 1 week later Monique for (finance) called again and stated there was another problem with the contract and that we needed to re sign a new one. Ask me why we did it again and I will tell you I just don't know. So we went down there a couple of days later waited another 45 minutes before walking out, when someone came up to us and lead us into the finance office for which we sat another 10 min with a different girl who had no idea what the heck she was doing. We ask to see somebody else; it just so happened Monique was not there. We spoke to another smooth talking finance gentlemen whom explained why we had to complete a new agreement. 2 hours later it was done. Looking back boy how stupid were we, I will never do that again. I will go by my 1st instinct.

*If you have not already heard of you should read what it says about under the Confessions of a Salesman Wow what an eye opener.

Shaver is more then just sneaky but they hire the most tiger devouring liars that can truly sale a dead rotted rat.

Oh I almost forgot they have already been sued once within this last year has anyone else heard if they have been sued more then once.
