On august 28th i went to shaver kia of San Bernardino and talked a salesman named walter who i had been chatting up over the last two weeks about getting me a car, walter proceeds to tell me that you will have no problem getting a car through "hey we even finaced a borrower that a fico score of 498, and there was a guy that we financed and he was upside down 13 grand in his car" so beliving this i decide to trade my 2002 nissan crew cab that had 75,000 miles in for a 2004 kia sorrento.
After much talkin with walter and the sale manager i was told to put down 2,500 and my payments would be 560 a month, no problem. I proceeded to give them 500.00 cash down and made arrangments to pay them the rest of the money in incraments. I went through the finace signed all the papers and was off riding in my brand new kia sorrento, well 2 weeks later i get a call from tony in finance and was told to bring the car back because they couldn't find anyone to finance me, to my shagrin i was live vid and wanted to know why shaver kia of San Bernardino or any dealership would let you drive of the lot without having you finaced. This is ludacrious, there should be made some legilation that makes it mandatory to have a finced car before you leave the lot that day.
This is one o the reason why i feel i was riped off i was made to believe that everything was peachy kie, and it wasnt from walter the salesman to the sales manger to tony in finance are nothing but slimeballs and dont deserve the courtesy of having a job at a car dealership.
P.S. I recommend to everyone before you leave that lot make sure youre car is finaced or better yet get finaced before you go in, also during this whole ordeal i was told by jill from shaver kia of San Bernardino to make sure when kia corporation gives me a call to give them all a's i told her that i wasn't stisfied so far i was also lied to about the car having the alarm hooked up i payed for floor mats and didn't recieve them and she told me that if i give them a good grade that she would make sure i would get these things, so much for that
