Sharon Carey And Don Carey At Beethoven Garden Apartments
Sharon Carey at Beethoven Garden Apartments Has An Active Slum

I believe the units at 3775 Beethoven ST. Los Angeles, CA 90066 are uninhabitable because they are not following these guidelines from the city of Santa Monica. The managers are Sharon Carey and Don Carey. I have notified the city, the fire department, and fair housing about this. A little has been done but not enough.

Sharon and Don came from Oregon when the pricing was cheap for the area and they are prejudice because they ask where you come from and what race you are. Then if they do not like your race (Indian, some Asian, etc) they will do everything possible to keep you away from the community. They may ask you questions like who you would like as president or how you feel about a way to determine if they want you in their community. Basic plumbing facilities are not in good working order. This including hot and cold running water, connected to a sewage disposal system.

An electric system, including lighting, wiring, and equipment, in good working order. (Exposed Wires and under carpet make shift fire hazard!)

Clean and sanitary buildings, grounds, and appurtenances (for example, a garden or a detached garage), free from debris, filth, rubbish, garbage, rodents, and vermin. Sharon Carey and Don Carey have piles of junk and filth cluttered all around the parking area and the community!

Sharon and Don, please leave the area because this community accepts all types of people and races. There could be some really great uses for the land you keep dirty and filled with junk. Allow the residents of this area to live in a safe environment with out your filth and prejudice! We have lived in two other apartments near by since we applied. Each cost over 3 times as much (even though they said we could not afford their community and they said our credit was a problem — we both have over 720). We are very happy with our current apartment now and wish we never even tried to live at this place if only for a limited time becuase it was cheap. This still leaves a bad taste.

Please contact your city and let them know what is happening if you have the same problem:
