Cancellel warranty—not getting refund as is in contract

I purchased an extended warranty 12/05 for $2555. NAWS deducted my premiums every month for the next year. My starting odometer was 115442. I was told at time of purchase that i had to purchase within a few days as my warranty was expired and they wanded it all paid within 1 year. The warranty covered entire power train and i never filed a claim and paid all premiums as contracted. I was told i could cancel my contract at any time and would be. The remaining value of the contract. I traded the truck off july 4 with odometer reading 149143 at trade in. I called NAWS and informed them that I had traded the truck and wanted to cancel the warranty. They put me on hold for 23 minutes by someone named Rick. When Rick picked the phone back up he said " I have to explain to you the best thing for you at this time" he kept giving me the run around and I held firm stating "i dont need your advice -I need a reimbersment check." He just kept at me so I asked to talk to his supervisor. He put me on hold another 20 min. He came back and started his sales pitch again and just kept at me.

I got upset because he was not listening to me i just wanted the money owed me for the remaining contract. He said we can transfer this "investment" to your new truck and he wanted VIN make and model-I refused to give him the info. Finally after more than 90 min with this guy he told me what i needed to do to be refunded. I submitted what asked and i have no refund as of today. I called NAWS today to ask what was happening and spoke to Lauren who tells me she works for a different company not related to NAWS and does not know when I will get a refund because the company is in litigation and had assets frozen 4 months ago. I look on the BBB and see that the company she works for is a part of NAWS and both are in poor standing. NAWS has 240 complaints against them and her company as well for not refunding money, not honoring contract etc... I filed a complaint with MO Attorney General so they could add top their pile of complaints against this company—what else can I do? All i want is my refund checkand to warn others about this company
