Complaint / Review
Ultimate Warranty, MEPCO Finance Corp (Dealer Services), National Auto Waranty Corp
Fraudulant Practices Missouri

Ultimate Warranty is assumed by TPA Risk Mgt who was hired by the state to handle claims. I was told this when I called to find out the refund status on my cancelled policy. They wouldn't provide any answers and directed me to www.doi. Sc. Gov to read about Ultimate Warranty.
MEPCO Finance (I found out) will not cancell the policy until NAWS informs them-which NAWS failed to do.
Repeated calls to Nat'l Auto Warranty (who is the broker) doesn't communicate or send notifications to the customer, so once I sent my certified letter to cancel my contract, I never knew it wasn't received until I called a week later. I then sent another letter overnight (both correspondence were confirmed delivered by the post office) yet, csr svc claimed they didn't receive them and until then, my policy would remain in effect and I would be expected to pay or go into default which meant they wouldn't have to refund anything according to the terms of the contract.
Customer service only gives scripted information. Managers don't return calls.
These three inter-related companies are no help to the customer when trying to get answers on your account.
I feel duped and foolish for paying almost $3,000 for a contract that is worthless.
BBB is no help either. They don't follow-up or even investigate the claims; they ony submit the report to the company for response.
I've filed a report with the St Louis attorney general which takes 6-8 weeks before they give their findings.
Ultimate is basically insolvent. MEPCO just takes your money and NAWS is the broker that basically administers the account.
I have not made any claims for my vehicle and just want my policy cancelled and money refunded and all I have gotten so far is a complete run-around.
