Today 7/28/08 I checked my bank account and noticed a $79.95 charge that I never authorized by Platinum Srvc. I contacted my bank immediately and they provided me with an 800 number to call. I called the number and was informed that they did not charge me and that I had the wrong company.

I then did some research on the internet and was able to find a number which is 800-972-8094. I called the company and was told that I did sign up with them otherwise I wouldn't have a membership with them. The person was rude and when I told them that I did not sign up for any thing with them he told me that I was not going to get a refund because they gave me a 3 day time limit to cancel and I did not. I then explained that I did not cancel because I was not even aware that I had ever signed up for anything needless to say after arguing for about 5 minutes on the phone with this man I was hung up on. But not before I was told that if I had been applying for payday loans that the information (name, bank information, etc.) was taken from there and that is how they got my information.

I called back and was transferred to a lady Lynette only to be told that I already knew that I was not going to get a refund and that my membership had already been canceled. They charged my account on 7/25/08, today is 7/28/08. The lady then hung up on me when I asked to speak to a Supervisor. I called back 8 times and was hung up on all 8 times when asked to speak to a Supervisor. I called back then a ninth time and asked for the Corporate Number and was told that they were not going to provide me with that information and was hung up on once again. I called back and was finally transferred to a Supervisor only to be told that since I was rude to her employees it was only fair that they hung up on me. I explained to her that this money was taken out of my account without me having any knowledge of it and that regardless of my attitude her customer service reps did not help me nor did they provide me with the necessary customer service that I needed. I still do not know what services they provide.

I want my money back. I did not sign up for any membership whatsoever. I've filed a complaint with BBB and am going to file one with the Nevada Consumer Protection agency as their office is based out of Nevada. This is absurd! They steal my money and then have the nerve to tell me I can not get a refund because they have a no refund policy.
