I was told that I won $180,000 from 500,000 names along with 20 others, from a computer data bank. It included a check in the amount of $4,850.00, which was drawn on a Silicon Valley Bank, the check looked real. I checked the internet, it was a real bank. It was to good to be true, the money was supposed to be in HSBC with an account # and pin #. I took it to my bank and had them contact the Silicon Valley Bank, you know the outcome... To good to be true! We faxed all the papers to the bank, they said they were getting alot of checks with the company name NUCENTCOM INC., no such co.
I hope the people that did this get caught and go to jail. It is not right to do this to anyone. When money is really needed this is devastating. Don't take anything for granted...
