The moment I opened up this letter I knew it was a scram. First of all, I never entered a mega lottery, the return address said Costco, the letter was from a place in the UK and the postmark was sent from Canada. The check looks real and the bank is real (Silicon Valley Bank in Santa Cruz, CA) Check was for $3,990. I was supposed to call a number first to get my $150,000 that I won. This will most assuredly not happen. Beware of something that seems to be too good, it most assuredly is.
