Where do I begin. Young black couple meet with builder to build a house in moscow, pa. Builder introduce couple to Barden Homes and gets mortgage from Robar Funding. Young black couple goes to builders office and sees a klan doll with the lighted eyes. Young black couple calls Robar (brett Decker) and informs him they will not work with someone who shares those racist beliefs. Jim Kelsall (Barden Homes regional manager) works with said builder and goes to bat for him.
Builder threatens to sue Barden and Robar. Brett Decker (robar funding) calls young black couple bullies and intimidates them. Brett Decker and Jim Kelsall afraid of a lawsuit from the builder talks this young black inexperienced couple into working with said builder. "We've worked with him before he's an honest guy".
Multiple complaints were filed with Brett Decker of Robar about the builder showing up drunk on site, high, mismanagement of funds, etc. The whole time Brett Decker assures this young black couple the builder knows what he's doing to stop micromanaging him.
We'll a year has passed by with no house. The builder sucked all the equity out of the house $601k. Turns out he was trying to get the house fraudulently appraised for more money so he could steal even more money. All of this is documented.
