In May of this year I placed an order with Thompson cigar company for 3 different brands of cigars that were in stock house brands. 9 days later, I checked their web site to check my order status only to find that the order was still pending. Trying to call their so called customer service was a joke. 3 different times of the same day, I called customer service, I gave up after being on hold for over 45 minutes each time.
I sent emails and recieved an automated response stating I would recieve an answer within 24 hours. Well now it's the end of June and still no e-mail response. I finally got through to them when I phone them and chose the " I want to place an order" selection, and they picked up on the second ring, only to tell me that my order had still not been processed. This is the second and LAST order Thompson's will ever screw up again.
I finally recieved my order and the cigars are over priced GARBAGE. Half were rolled too tight to smoke, the other have so dried out they fell apart. Did I want to go through the process all over again to return these, Hell no, I just wrote it off. I did reach someone on thompsons cigar blog that did email me back asking for information so he could " forward to the right department head" and that he would write back, have never heard from him again. I have steered all my cigar buddies away from thompsons to far better companies. I will smoke dried leaves before I ever place another order with these shysters.
