Multiple billings / differant balance charges / disconnection

In october a tenant renting a room from me in my home asked if i could have a phone and enternet connection installed in his room and he would reimburse me after starting his new job. Long story short he disappeared and i was stuck with the bill. The original agreement of the charges was reasonable and after two hours with a represenative of quest it was resolved that i would not be charges the 200 dollar fee for early disconnection of those services.

I was charged in a bill this fee anyway plus additional connection fees after the notice to stop the services and there were penalty fees added as well.

I recieved several statements showing differant fees and none of these charges were agreed upon. The charges ranged from the agreed amount of 245.83 cents to 575.00 or there abouts.

I complained to the state of washington consumer affairs div. They did not respond to my call. My phone and enternet connections were shut off and i began getting threatening or harrassing phone calls from a collection company from out of state.

They were calling me on my business phone and evean though i requested they simply mail me any response to my address they continued too call and to this day it goes on.

I have no phone in the house now and the number is used for my business as well. I have it on my work van as a phone number to contact me.

This has been going on since november till now june without resolution.

Luckily i have a phone tyhrough att and t or i would be without a phone. I have explained several times that i would pay the resolved balance through the department of consumer affairs since they can not be trusted with their words.

What too do? I don't know.
