I signed up with Vonage in January after seeing their advertisement on TV. I wanted to save some nickels for my home based business. Everyone I talked with said I was constantly breaking up. I thought it was my phone. GO Figure!
I moved to the next county over and had to make changes to my office and Vonage services were not going to work for me in my new place. I called to cancel and thought it was taken care of.
Two weeks later, I find out I am still a customer with an account that was being charged on my credit card. I was never told about the 2 year contract or the cancellation fee. I was never able to view my account online, even after I was assigned a NEW password.
I told them to cancel now and they told me it was going to cost me $79.95 plus $39.95 for a total of $171.70. DAH! YOU DO THE MATH!!!
The girl that I talked with made me spell my name at least 12 times and repeat my email address over & over & still couldn't get it right. She couldn't even spell her own name properly. VALERIE! Another DAH!!!
I still have my account but NOT my credit card. I told you I was not paying them another red cent and I meant it. HELP! I have never been more frustrated in my life.
This company is a cancer that makes you heave. Thinking of joining Vonage? Think again and run like Hell!!!
