Making charges to your telephone bill without authorization Minneapolis minnesota

I noticed a charge of $8.43 on my windstream telephone bill. The charge was listed as ybvmlsetup billed on behalf or your product bill. I called windstream and they said that at sometime I probably filled out a survey online or by telephone and it automatically enabled this company to set up some kind of a voicemail on my phone and charge me for it. Windstream said they would credit this amount and charge it back to the company and they gave me the number to the company that made the charges. They said the same thing but I did not authorize any kind of voice mail. I am waiting to see if I will be reimbursed. I just wonder how many people this has happened to that did not notice this extra charge on their phone bill.
