This is not the first time I have ordered on internet. Have purchased a number of electronic gadgets from computers, monitors, cameras, memory cards, etc. You think you get wiser the more you do this kind of thing but that's not true on the contrary you become more trusting! Getting back to FOTO CONNECTION I did make one mistake; I did not check their track record. Bizrate had suspended their ratings because of suspecious activities. If I had I would not be writing this. March 12,07 I ordered a Sony camcorder DCR-SR82. Technically according to their claim my item should have beem mailed on the 14th. But as soon as they get my order they send me an acknowledgement and asking me to call them for order clarification. That was a first for me, so I call and someone with the name of Tom keeps me on the phone to sell me battery, warranty, tripod and many more. He does not take no for an answer and even when tell him to cancel the order his ears are not tuned to the word CANCEL and he keeps going. He has not made his quota so he presses and you don't know if he heard you cancelling the order or he is deaf! Any way all of a sudden as if he woke up, he utters with a sense of dismay and tells me this is all for my benefit and that I will be sorry for not listening to his recommendations and that he'll send me what I have asked for, Thank you. Well my credit card was charged on the 18th, of March and on 21st. When I Inquire the camera was not shipped yet. I was told in 24 Hrs. I'll receive a tracking number. Today is 23 and not a word from them and my call was responded to by telling me tracking number will reach me by the end of the day and if not it'll be Tuesday 27th, before I get a tracking number. Which makes me wonder what's the matter with Monday!!! Right after talking to them I checked them out (After the fact) on Bizrate and discovered that they have suspended their rating. My last email was an hour or two ago and they have until Monday to give me a tracking number or I will proceed with dispute through the credit company to recover my $700:00 they have taken out of my account.
