Genuine Marketing Solutions defrauds charitys to get rich

When I started I was under the impression of making $35,000-$40,000 a year (there is NO WAY that is possible, you would be lucky to make $15,000 and even if you somehow did that $5,000 of it would be for the gas you used). I found this hard to believe until I saw the 24 year old owner Robbert Stiff (A.K. A James Parker) making about $250,000-$350,000 a year. Of course it doesn't look like that on paper since he olnly pays himself $400 a week and makes about $4,000-$7,000 a week (depending on how good the employees did at ripping people off), none of which goes to payroll since your an "idependent contractor and only make commission. This is because they sell products with the misleading information that the proceeds are going to a non-profit organization such as CPEA (Child Protection Education Of America).

The owner also uses an alias James Parker if you look on career builder or monster it says James Parker as the contact and when they e-mail you to set up an interview that is who it says its from. There is no James Parker employeed at GMS nor has there ever been. They advertise on career builder and monster with different titles to catch your eye saying there are various positions like cutomer service, management, marketing assistants, public relations, and advertising. There is only ONE position open and that's wasting your gas standing in front of wal-mart scamming money out of people. And even when you do get promoted to "leader" you do the exact same thing you make not one cent more.

Now if you look on the web site and even in the interviews they say nothing about standing in front of stores wasting your gas to defraud a charity, they say they do "promotional events" and even when I asked him in the interview "James" had answers that ended up just being not being straight answers him just beating around the bush so you wouldn't walk out.

Only 5% of the money raised to help missing children goes into the charity if that's really true I dont know and the other 95% goes in the owner of the companys pocket. And of course when your out in front of stores ripping people off you dont tell them only a miniscule amount goes back unless they ask and even then they try to get you to avoid telling them by beating around the bush and only if the customer is insistent do you tell them, while your trying to sell something they make you talk as to give the impression that all of the money is going back and their really helping and then if you do have to tell them only 5% goes back and they ask what happens to the other 95%, you tell them it stays in the community to help keep it safe, when in fact it helps owners get rich. Of course you do get a 35% commission which turns out to be about $200 bucks (if your lucky) a week that you work monday-saturday for 72 hours a wk, so the owner can get rich.

And on top of that you have to use your own car to drive anywhere between 20 minutes to an hour away to a wal-mart, rite aid, krogers, ect. To stand in front of their door and sell stuff, and of course you dont get compensated for the gas. And then about half the time you go with another person and have to split the already small 35% you are making.

Now when you first start, they talk about you owning your own company in 7 months and making it to leadership in 2 weeks. The only thing that happens when you make it to being a leader is you still make the 35% but you have to work more hours and go take second day interviews out so you actually make less.

The turnover rate for this company is ridiculous, I must have saw at least 50 people come and go in the 3 weeks I was there, for an office that at its max was 16 people. Some of them got fired which I didn't understand why they weren't getting an hourly rate the owner just sat back and collected money, but most of them quit once they realized it was a scam and there was no way they were going to make money.

GMS is actually a part of Quantum events so there are offices all over the country with different names that do the same thing, sell things in the name of a charity without mentioning that only 5% actually goes back, so new offices are springing up all over the country were they sell toys from a company called inovage and reap the profits.

Bottom line this is a this is a company that the owners make a substantial ammount of money taking it from low and middle class people because their trying to help out, DO NOT work for this company or any other of the Quantum branches you WILL NOT make money in fact you will probably spend more on gas then you will make. Theres got to be some legality in this if not at the least tax evasion, I'm sure there is some kind of embezzlement going on since it's mostly cash.
