Which complaint should I start with first.
If you want to be ripped off by fees this is the bank for you. There dishonest, crooked and very sneaky.
A year ago my husbands card was stolen and charged $1300. He reported it to the bank and they reversed the charges. He never heard from them again regarding this matter. No letter, phone calls or e-mails. After various other problems with them like not getting his debit card in the mail (4 times) he decided to close his account and find another bank. Upon doing so they were making it very difficult by adding on charges and fees with no explanation as to what they were. He inquired several times and continued to get no where. He asked several times to speak to someone who he could dispute the fees and was informed there wasn't one. Then to top it off the last person he spoke to informed him his old account. (the one that had been stolen) was $1300.00 overdrawn. He doesn't even have the account # anymore. They basically told him it was his fault someone stoled his card and took his money. He had no idea of the reversed charged and was never notified by phone, e-mail, letter or even when he was in the bank. It's been overdrawn for more than three months (about the time he wanted to close the account) To top it off they are going to send it to collections and he has no way to dispute it. They informed him they do NOT have to provide him with any information. He can either pay or go to collections.
I started reading complaints on the internet and this sounds like there usual practices. My husband is willing to start a class action lawsuit if anyone knows how let us know.
