I purchased in August for the main reason of using in Vegas for the NFR which is the first week of December each year. I bought in 2006 and was told it would be available for 2007.2008 will be the first year it will be available. Because of the lies and broken promises, I am in the process of trying to Rescind the Contract so I am not looking to book any time with these unscrupulous people.
I was told with my "Bonus Nights" I could call three days in advance and stay at any Resort with no blackout dates. This would include July 4th, Halloween, Christmas and New Years. I am self-employed, and a single father, so I can not make vacation plans for weeks at a time. We take several long weekends per year. The past two years I was not able to book anything through BlueGreen. I even called 4 months in advance for New Years with nothing available

I did get an invitation to visit Branson in December so I could set down to ask any questions I might have. At this meeting they tried to pressure me into buying more points. The lady said that I got screwed on the original purchase. Said I should have been offered 0% for two years then no more than 8% thereafter.
I am paying 15.99%. Was also told that nobody should purchase less than 20,000 points or they do not get the "benefits". During the meeting, just in conversation I mentioned that if I had known it was going to take so long, I would have brought more Kahlua with me for my coffee.
The lady asked if I was indeed drinking? She then stated that she could not have me sign a Contract under any circumstances because of the alcohol. Sure is funny, they all knew I was drinking Kahlua in Florida when I made the original purchase but they failed to advise.
I have contacted BlueGreen Vacations via Certified Mail on two occasions since this meeting in December. I have received a return call from Ms. Jean Kenny each time. The most recent was 5-21-08 where she informed me that it has been too long, so nothing was warranted. I am in the process of getting Representation, so if anyone can help me I would really appreciate any information. I live in Oklahoma, so the Laws are different but I am not one to give up.

PS. To the others that talk so "great" about BlueGreen. Sure wish I had as much time to go on vacation as you. See if you can brag just a little more next time on how many you are taking!!! Perhaps some day I can???
Until then, I am just a normal, working, single parent, trying to get by. Then to top it off, we have to deal with this type CRAP.
