Belmont Homes is a ripoff company! Their homes are ripoffs! And are not built to last!
I have had a leaky roof ever since I purchased my home in 1999. I've known of other manufactured home owners who have not had leaky roofs. I've tried to contact the company about the 20 year roof warranty and have not got anywhere.
During the first year I had to call them out many times to fix my front door, rain ran down the wall, and it smells like body order between the storm door and the regular door. They never got it fixed.
I complained about soft/weak spots in the floors — they never did anything about them. I've worried the whole time about my floors falling through.
I recently found out that underneath the "cheap" trim on the walls — are gaps! Some gaps a whole half inch from the wall board to the ceiling! Air holes! No wonder it gets so cold! So hot!
Ripoff is too good a word for this company that builds shoddy homes and charges a fortune for them.
I have searched for the past 3 years to try to get some help with this mess! I wanted to get a refund or a replacement or have some knocked of the outrageous price but have not found any help. Help? Is there any out there?
