Ok... Where to start... I am a former employee of this company and I am giving all those out there a fair warning. This company is great if you want to work 13 hour days (sometimes with NO PAY), driving your own car anywhere between 5-30 miles to your territory and dealing with the "professionalism" of Mike Kriss and Ellen Winters.
First off, they tell you it is 3-4 month training program that will eventually get you to management and a six figure salary. Don't belive it please, I was there for a year and although I went on three great trips with the company, I never saw anywhere near that amount of money. To be honest I filed my taxes from the year and my total income was $10,000. You figure out the hourly wage. Working 13 hours a day, 6 days a week IT IS NOT WORTH IT!!!
Driving your own car. Lets see here... The office is in Addison, an hour away from my house, and my territories were sometimes in Gurnee, Streamwood, Romeoville and Mokena (just to name a few) I put SOOO many miles on my car, spent a weeks worth of pay in gas for two days, and eventually blew my trans. I spent about four to five hours a day in my car just driving different places. It sucked...
And last but certianly not least. Mike Kriss and Ellen Winters. What can I say? Umm. They both did not know how to manage a group of people. No understanding if you had a dying relitive or anything. Those two are the most ruthless, money hungary people I have ever met. Both of them need to be investigated on how they run their businesses.
I have read a lot of the postings on MMC/GQ/Global Advertising and all of what they write of is true. I have read one posting from a person who claims the people who write these are just lazy. But I beg to differ. We are simply a LARGE group of people who don't agree with the way these people run a business. And to be honest I feel bad for that person because he is in a stage of denial and has easily been brainwashed by the companies poor business ethics. I don't know how long they have been there but he will come to the realization of THERE IS NO FUTURE AT MMC/GQ/Global Advertising.
For those who read this please take caution. Don't go in for the 2nd round interview I used to run them, and they are not easy to get out of once you are in the car. If anyone has further inquires reguarding the business practices of this company please post a rebuttle and I will get back to you asap. I really want to put a stop to this company and any information will be used to do so. So now you have all been fair warned.
