I called GLobal Advertising, Inc to inquire about the company because of a job they posted on Monster.com I knew of someone that had gone to this company for an interview and I knew they were not totally truthful to get them to come in. They lied on the phone to me when I specifically asked what their company did. Jennifer, the girl who answered the phone, said they were a public relations firm. I specifically asked her what she meant by that. She said they did billboards and ads for companies. At that point I asked if they ever send people out into the public to directly sell products. She said "No." Believe me, That is exactly what these people do. They also operate I think under the name CQ imports.
Mike Kriss is listed as the company president of Global Advertising, Inc. And I read on a scam report on this site about him listed under a company called CQ imports. The magazines in the office of Global Advertising all say CQ imports on them. I believe they prey on young people, even go so far as to recruit college grads for their "marketing" techniques which include going out for a day of "sales" with a recruiter.
Please be ware if you do go to them for a job interview. You will most likely end up selling junk out of a duffle bag or sitting at a booth somewhere selling junk to the public. It is not at all what they portray on the phone. What a waste of my friends time and money to get there. I am writing because of the call I made to the company personally asking questions and was totally lied to. When I confronted Jennifer on the phone she hung up.
