Death, Taxes, and Vonage... Avoid all of the above at all costs. I had vonage service for three years. Dropped calls, constant static, customer service is a train wreck... But Im going to keep it real... When you shop at the Mc Donalds of internet phone service, you cant be too picky about the quality of the product you recieve. My real complaint starts when I tried to disconect my vonage service. I called in to end my service in August of 07. Afer dealing with an hour of hold time and another half hour of probing personal questions about my future phone choices, the C.S.R. Told me that Acc. Management was closed and I would have to call back next week... So-on... So-on... Blah-blah.in short... I noticed last month that I have been billed every month ever since disconecting. I have never encountered a customer service team more expertly trained in the finely honed art of screwing their customers, more that those answering the calls at vonage. They freely admit that I cancelled my service, and yet they refuse to credit me the over-charge, they refuse to escalate the call to management, and their favorite trick of all? Refuse to cooperate with their tactics and they will just put you on hold... FOREVER!!!

In closing... I make an apt. To meet with the Fraud Specialist at my bank. As soon as the word "Vonage" crosses my lipps, she starts laughing. It seems that Vonage not only provides phone service, it also provides job security for Amy, at my bank. After about 10 minutes and a few signatures, all funds were placed back in my acc. Bye-Bye Vonage
