Did not disclose that plumbing was not working in home he sold to me Carlsbad

Michael Aasand the owner of the property/listing agent sold me a house with no working plumbing. There was never a disclosure statement given to us as to the conditions of house. They claimed that they didn't need to because it wasn't "owner occupied." (This loop hole was never discussed with us by our broker Joshua Beauchamp of Smart Move Realty) Yet, he advertised it as a "turn key property" and "newly remodeled home." (I found out from our neighbor that it was a rental.) When we went to Michael Aasand to have him fix it he made us wait weeks before even sent a plumber. We had no where to live because our was not habitable. He finally sent a plumber who further destroyed my house and made holes looking for the pipe leak. We had several plumbers recommend a camera snake to find leak but he refused to pay for it. So Cowboy's Plumbing went ahead and started their guesswork. When I caught them burying the pipe; I asked them what they had replaced and he showed me a little pipe that he had access to all the time. They had made holes everywhere! They lied and said it was fixed. I called out Roto Rooter and they ran the camera snake and found out that the pipe in the kitchen was busted and the sewer line was broken. There was also roots growing into the pipe that caused all my plumbing to back up. I had no toilets, shower or kitchen plumbing working. So I ran them off my property and it was even more weeks before I could repair the disaster. So far no one has compensated us for damages. We have been promised by PMAC that they would try to get these guys to compensate us but still nothing. My family has suffered months of homelessness, financial loss, and time dealing with these guys. Buyer Beware. Always make sure you get a disclosure statement your broker may not even mention it to you.
