Plumb Crazy Plumbing was hired by the general contractor after our house fire to install all new plumbing throughout our home. Plumb Crazy installed a new main sewer pipe in our basement that attaches to the pipe that goes to the septic tank. However, they failed to seal around the sewer pipe and ground water leaked into our basement for nearly two years. We did not discover the leak immediately, due to the pipe being behind a wall (our basement was finished). We realized it when mushrooms began growing out of our carpet and mold and mildew appeared.
Plumb Crazy Plumbing has denied replacing the pipe (although I have proof that they DID replace it) and refuses to file an insurance claim for our damages and losses. The general contractor also refuses to accept responsibility and refuses to file a claim on their insurance also. To make matters worse, the county building inspector also "passed" this job! We have three professional, licensed entities that failed us and no one will accept responsibility, so we are stuck with thousands of dollars worth of damage!
